my brothers birthday is coming up and i wanted to get him a new video card, i was thinking about a radeon 9000, or 8500. anyone know the difference bettween the two or is the 8500 the way to go for him.


i will only get him a ATI product, no Geforce crap!

hey man...the 9000 is actually a non-compatible direct x9 card....so is the 8500...but benchmarks conclude that the 9000 is less powerful than the 8500. go with the 8500 with 128 mbs biggrin: he'll be happy you did that.
