Default Windtalkers SMG - 12-09-2002, 12:12 AM

Alright we all know Windtalkers blew (no pun intended!) The only thing I liked in Windtalkers was the weapon sounds. Anyways, noticed the in one of the battle scenes Nick Cage reloaded his Thompson, but it had a top cocking nob. So perplexed by what I've scene and read, I looked in my book and found yet another historical inaccuracy. The barrel in Windtalkers was smooth like it should be but, the barrell that had a cocking nob was kinda ripped and had like indents. Plus the model M1928A1 was only in service till 34! God, if you make a movie based on a true story, get some of it straight!

P.S. It's 1 a.m. and I got nothin better to bitch about!

Yea I liked the "I'm gonna hose them all with my endless 30 round clip, then still have ammo to kill the Jap who was threating my freinds life" part.

I might DL it from KaZaA, to get the weapon firing sounds. I like the Thomspon and BAR. Might have to listen to the M1.

no doubt, it was the most cornest war movie I've ever watched... it even beat Pearl Harbor for christ sake!

Did you guys catch the barrel flash on that thompson when Cage fired it!? The damn thing was like a flamethrower!

Ya I saw the movie last night and I thought it was just me, but no others concur that the movie sucked too. Whats up with Nicholas cage? He can't make a good movie anymore. I do agree that the sounds effects were cool, thats it though. His Tommy gun sounded awesome, if someone is making a sound mod with the sounds from this movie tell me where I can get it.
