Need some help on servers, IP address, anything technical?

Well post them here for me, I will help. I am in a tech class for computers, and I fix computer problems, fix computers, I make/remake computers, and I do this every day at school for the whole school.

I also run a mod, so I can help with game issues, that and I know alot about mohaa heh.

So if you need help with your PC, Hardware, Software, or MOHAA lemme know here.

I see to many people asking for help and not getting what they need heh. To bad my tech site is gone now lol.

I need help setting up a DNS, Active Directory servers on my win2k pro server box. I only want trusted relationship between clients and server according to IP rules. Those IP will then can access MOHAA server on a local network. Thanks.

gimme some time lol I never done that before "yet", that and well Ive never worked on win2k so lemme see how the settings would be aight? Ill get back to ya asap. If I cant figure it out, Ill get you the answer from the all mighty smart guy who knows all that stuff one of the instructors of the class heh.

you talking about a business server that links clients up to the net, and you only want them access to the net and not to the files on the server?

IceVirus, it is more complicated than it seems. You are going to have to do your homework, and read up on the book(s) that came, and that you can access at the any book store. Its to complicated to explain over the internet.

Sounds like a ISP problem. Call your ISP (internet service provider) and ask for tech support, and tell them this problem. It is very well possible it can be the cookies but they will know for sure. Just call up the company who you get your broadband from and ask for tech support.

sometimes when i play Spearhead the framerate drops REALLY low, what is the matter..... angel: ...lol Oh yeah, my cup holder on my computer is broken!

You say anything, OK, how about changing your weapons PK3 file, i havbe the sioftware to do it.
I know what file it is. I have played in servers that have smg for ex: Rate of fire is slower or quicker, less ammo capacity.
So how can i changfe my rate of fire and mag capacity?

Now do i have to replace the file in my server or just my pc for it to work.

what type of videocard. And also, the cupholder, Get some ducttape, it fixes everything.

You have to run it as a server side mod, cant run it as client only. And you would have to edit the weapon's .tik for the weapon you want to modify. Open it with notepad.
