But to be honest any games that does a D-Day landing will look like SPR, it’s only cos that movies was the first to do ti so well that it got recognized, now apparently everything that looks like war was taken from SPR.

Did you guys hear the screams of the germans and if you look at the first movie compared to the 2nd the germans make different moves at different times like when the german in the 1st one stayed in the building but in the 2nd one he came out.

i dont think its just that its dday, it actually does take many things from spr, including:

blowing the shingle of whatever away the same way (bangalors<---spelling?) i know they actually did that in real life but it was done exactly the same as SPR.

Covering fire by the captain against the wall, just like in SPR.

Same tower in the SniperTown level as SPR

and im sure there are more, and will be more things we will see later on....[/list]

1st:the one in close combat is on utah beach

2nd: its a 2d game, meaning even if it was you probaly wouldnt be able to tell

3rd: I was dissapointed with that close combat, not as much fun as the first one

Indeed many things in the Dday level of MoH look like SPR. Like in the first 10 seconds in the MoH dday landing movie:

CLEAR THE RAMP! THIRTY SECONDS!

If you look SPR it's the exact same...

Also, In the 2nd Omaha Beach movie, Powell looks to is right and if you look closely you can see a soldier dragging another wounded soldier and a mortar shell land right on top of them, very much resembling the scene in SPR when Capt. Miller is dragging the wounded guy who is then blown in half by the shell....
