how about have a button to call out "thunder!". if it is an american around the corner he replies, the obvious, "flash!", so you dont pop your own dudes hiding in a mg nest. if it is a german around the corner he gets pissed and brings all of his friends(hear them speaking gibberish and so on). that would be sweet. also how about if you call for a medic he isnt always able to help you. such as, he doesnt have the correct kit items. like in band of brothers, the medic was looking for scissors and supplies. get where im coming from guys?

wouldn't it be hard to add in a medic? The main thing i think would be cool for this mod would be a coop Multiplayer. Like we could fight the battle of the bulge with us guys together in this forum. Wait, is this mod going to be primarily Multiplayer like DoD or were you making a Single player game too?

i actually think its a term that is used vice versa, it doesnt really matter, just a code to signify an allied force. but fuz
ill have to check saving private ryan. remember when the airborne sargent yells "thunder or we will fire on you..." to the french civilans.

I think that before each mission you should be able to pick your man and select all of his "accessories" (guns ammunition secondary weapon medical supplies etc). A first person view is great. Battle outcomes not always in ally’s favor. When you beat the game and get a certain number of points you can unlock secret missions where you can play as a German. Select squad from a pool of historically accurate men(Talbert,Webster,Malarky,Luz,etc). Maybe you can be promoted throughout the game determined by points received(or by historical perspective) and end up leading your men through battle. Go on night patrol with your squad and do a little reconisance. You can pull out a map and find where you are located from your starting point and to the nearest known enemy. Also on the map you can set up a defensive perimeter and where you would like your men to dig fox holes.
Thanks for reading and good luck!

In real life the challenge was "Flash" and the reply was "Thunder". Saving Private Ryan had it backwards. The main reason is that Germans have trouble pronouning the "TH", They would pronounce it "Sunder", or at least that was the idea, to rely on the Kraut accents.
