every time i get into a server, within a few min to sometimes a half an hour, i get an error and my game crashes

i don't know what it means but it crashes my game even after atleast 5 reinstalls, and registry cleanings.
my specs:
512 megs RAM
geforce 4 mx420
amd athlon XP 1900
sound blaster PCI128
46 gig HD

yes i have windows XP and i updated my drivers and so far so good

heh, yes numerous settings. Vsync and z-buffer are 2 of the most common.

hey joe, is there any way of retrieving an old username and password form an e-mail acount?
i signed up to this fine forum back in the day and then i forgot my username and passowrd ecause of autologin and now i can't sign up with that e-mail because apparently one user per e-mail address
