Default # of Servers - 01-11-2003, 11:54 AM

Does anyone know why there are far more EA-owned BF1942 servers than EA-owned MOH (SH and AA)? I assumed after SH's release that EA would have more servers available...Not the case. ALso, a large number of EA's BF1942 servers are empty, too.

Just a curious thought for a Saturday...

Yeah, that's true...But most of the servers are empty, whereas MOH's EA servers are usually full.

The uk battlefield servers are usually always full, theres a 50 player server thats hard as hell to get into at any time.

Heh heh...MOH is still selling better than BF1942, and it's been out for almost a year. Yep, EA still sucks.

I have a feeling that it takes more resources then MOH thus costs more for someone to put up their own server.

So EA has to compensate by putting up their own servers.

(not that SH doesn't suck a PCs resources dry as well )

I agree. I spoke with someone who sponsors both BF1942 & MOH servers, and he told me that a 16-person for MOH is the same price as a 28 players svr for BF1942.
