There is only one mp3 that didn't copy right, why not just copy the mp3 over?

BTW: Thanks for the tip!

psssstt........he didn't call 2015 idiots. He said EA was.

anyway, I've asked some guys ingame and they said they could hear everything (the planes and the ambience sounds). I have no idea how that folder (SOUNDAMB_STEREO) appeared in the MOHAANet Demo folder instead of the main folder. weird.....

"Superman's arch-rival Lex Luthor sends along word of a bug in the installer for the new map for the Medal of Honor demo. Here's the deal:

I've discovered a little bug in the new released demomap "the hunt" which can be fixed easily. During the Installation the background sounds are installed at the wrong folder and that's why you don't hear any backgroundsounds in the new map. To fix this just extract the "Amb_M5_TownExt_2.mp3" file to the following place : "medalofhonorfoldermainsoundamb_stereo" ..... That should fix it all."

shit...I better say that is from www.bluesnews.com or else people will say I'm plagirizing. hehheheh j/k

Someone at EA screwed up the packaging of this new map, and if you look at your MoH directory, there is now a SOUNDAMB_STEREO folder that was added to your MOHAANetDemo folder.

It was SUPPOSED to go in your MOHAANetDemoMain folder, but some idiot at EA screwed up the packaging.

To correct this, MOVE that folder SOUNDAMB_STEREO folder into your MOHAANetDemoMain folder, and let it overwrite everything in there, and the next time you play THE HUNT map, you will hear ambience like planes and explosions.

Here are instructions for the feeble minded:

1. Load up Windows Explorer and go to C:Program FilesEA GamesMOHAANetDemo
(this is the default location of where the game is installed to)

2. If you look inside, you should see there is a folder that says SOUND

3. Highlight it (but don't go into it), click on EDIT (at the top of the menu), and choose 'CUT'

4. Now, double click on the folder that says MAIN

5. Once you are inside of the MAIN folder, click on EDIT and choose 'PASTE'

6. Allow it overwrite any files it says it has to overwrite.

Next time you play The Hunt, you'll hear the ambience that you were supposed to hear.

ENJOY

Don't sweat it. It was a no-brainer anyway, but it would easily trip you up if you weren't paying attention to the folder hierarchy, as the install file was packaged wrong.

The installer on FilePlanet has been updated, so those folks just now downloading it should have this problem.
