I just don't understand why the idiots at EA decided they needed a man to armor weapon in multiplayer.

There are 0 tanks in the MP game (aside from scorpio's) but there is no need for man to man combat.

Personally I like the explicit images pack from FUBAH, which covers the rocket picture on the weapon selection screen with the words.. "I am a ****en *****"

Its beautiful really, running it server side is great.

I like to enable cheats on my server and blast a guy from the top floor at stalingrad through like 5 walls, you get lots of wtfs and expletives that can't be posted here, but its damn hilarious.

Anyways, just post your thoughts on rockets here, lets not turn this into a flame war like the infamous shotgun thread and lean/strafe thread.

I do like the bazooka mod that mods the shell to be a superman body, its fun watching superman slam into a noobs face, side view.

I think they have it here, or at modtheater, or if you can't find it there, try P-MoH.

The same question to why there's a rocket launcher in almost every FPS game. They're not needed in most cases to take out infantry, but they are there. It's just another fun level to add to a game. The same reason every FPS should have a flame thrower, or a BFG. biggrin:

I said this before and I'll say it again, the problem is not in the "cheap" weapons themselves, but the fact that there is no limit on how many of the "heavy" (#6)weapons you can have.

Rockets and shotguns are fun and add to strategy IF THERE ARE ONE OR TWO PER TEAM, but on many public servers if one person grabs a shotgun or rocket it eventually turns into a complete rocket and shotgun fragfest.


on a side note I found this weird server that runs stock, limits regular nades to two, but allows 6 bazooka shells oOo:

Strange... but shotguns can be fun at the PhatPipe server, they run delator and everything else so its completely clean... but a bunch of skilled shotties isn't that bad because they are actually decent. oOo:
