Hi i need help, me and my brothers computers are networked and we have been playing moh. The problem just started not too long ago and we had no problems before. When he tries connecting to my server it does like normal for a second it says hes preparing for deployment and then it just boots him to the main screen.its not anything to do with custom maps either because he has all the maps i have. when it boots him to the main menu screen its doesnt give any errors at all. Any ideas?? anyone had this problem? A friend of mine can connect but not the pc thats networked. I dont have a firewall running of any sort i havent changed any network settings of any sort either Help!!

1) No need to use bold.

2) Did he download any mods recently? Try clearing out all of the maps/mod/skins and see if he can connect. This is about the only thing I can think of.

No he didnt use or download any mods lately, i did find out he could connect to a team match server i was running a free for all

Wait, now I'm confused. You were running a FFA game, but he could only connect to a TDM game? You were playing over a LAN, not an IP right?

ok my first thought was is his game still patched to 1.11 for AA and 2.11 for SH, as mine came unpatch recently some how.

now i see the last post your hosting and he's trying to conect to you or to an out side server???

could you please explain this a bit better.

I figured out the problem. Do not ask me how but the map that we were trying to play got deleted from the computer. He did have it because we both played on the map together but all i did was put the map back on the computer. I should have looked in the first place. It didnt do the usual gibberish in the console when you dont have a certain map so i thought it wasnt map related.Anyways thanks for the replies
