Default Why my allied scope is always black? - 02-05-2003, 06:05 AM

I made some axis scopes...they work just fine, colours were right. Today I made my first allied scope...the crosshair is green but in game it´s black? I tried also to rename my colour axis scope to zoomoverlay (allied scope) and still in the game same scope is all black...What is the problem? Why allied scope is always black? oOo:

I'm not a modder, but I think it has something to do with the alpha channels on the zoomoverlay.tga file. Check this tutorial:

don't know what program you are using to make your scope but after you save your work make sure not to flood fill over your colors. Hobb's scope making tutorial on that url jedi gave you is the best I have seen yet. also are you using a hud shader?

yup also in the pk3 where u c the textures folder make a new one along side that one called scripts and put the hud shader in there .. that will gove u colour to your allie scope
