I Downloaded MOHAA Demo both MP and SP and both start up with a Gray Screen! and it freezes. Ive looked back at past posts and have seen stuff like reinstall Direct X and OpenGL how do I reinstall them.... and I saw one that renames a file and couldnt figure that one out either.. Is there other people with this problem.. I have a Nividia(Dell) Graphics card and got my comp a month ago so it's a new card.. anyways thanks in advance..
I really wanna try out this game!!

For direct X: www.microsoft.com (then enter it in search or go to the download center link)

If you haven't installed it yet, thats the problem right there.

For openGL: www.opengl.com however if your card is new, the drivers should have it, so install the drivers again or check for updates at the manufacturers website.

For the gray screen fix you first gotta click folder options and then "show hidden and system files" then you see the file and you can rename it. Hope it helps and feel free to ask again

If you already have the latest version of DirectX it should work ok, you could try to type DXdiag.exe in the run dialog in your start menu to see if there are any errors.

About the openGL, you should browse the site and check it out for yourself... OpenGL is included with my drivers so I haven't installed openGL seperately recently.

goto your MOH:AA main directory, then map options and tick the box in front of: "show hidden or system files" Then the DLL's also show up.

Then rename ffx86.dll to ffx86.bak

Hope it fixes it man, you're missin out on a great game, it rules
