Mac OSX installation problem - any ideas? -

I've run MOHAA under Mac OS9.2.2, but when I try to install (from original genuine disks) onto my OSX G4 I get the message 'Please insert the CD "Medal of Honor CD1" into your CD-ROM drive or press quit', even though CD1 is in the drive and clearly mounted on the desktop.
My son tried earlier (without success) to install MOHAA onto the same drive from a cloned disk - are there invisible prefs lurking somewhere in the system which prevents the real version from being recognised? If so, how do I uninstall them?
You don't need to reinstall Mohaa again if you want to play under OSX. Only one installation is required for both native and X. Do you have the latest OSX? I think OS 10.2.4 is a free upgrade from Apple. The latest Mac Mohaa free update is 1.12.
If you are having problems with your original installation try deleting all previous Mohaa files - including Medal of Honor preferences in home/library/preferences and reinstall under OSX. After installation update to Mohaa 1.12.
Although Mac Mohaa is designed to run on OSX many users find it easier to play under Mac OS native with CarbonLib.
Drive works fine with all other CDs. I've put the OS9 hard disk in the G4 and, using the same CD drive, the game plays fine from the original CD. Trouble is, being lazy, I don't want to keep having to reboot onto the other hard disk every time I fancy some carnage.
