Default New Hiding spot in Stalingrad. - 02-27-2003, 03:03 AM

Im sure someone is going to say they been there but...

I was playing with a guy from 10 mtn and we went into Stalingrad. We went to the basement where the two big storage tanks with the metal stairs. Leaping on his back I was able to go on top of the Tank and hide behind the pipe going up the the ceiling. I was able to kill quite a few people who couldnt figure out where I was. Becareful if you fall of the back of the tank that is closest to the wall you are stuck behind the tank and have to be killed.

I dont consider this landsharking or under the map because im visible and can be killed but its fun for a while.....

He's not talking about a tank as in "an enclosed heavily armed and armored combat vehicle that moves on tracks". It's a storage tank in the bottom floor on the small building between the two bigger buildings.

Tank:
...
2 : a usually large receptacle for holding, transporting, or storing liquids (as water or fuel)

Those tanks are boilers. Thats the main heating plant for that block of buildings. A very common thing for around that time. You can do the same thing if you hide behind the boxes to the left of the boilers.

I was just more stating the fact that they are boilers, thats all. In no way did I want to seem like I was arguing. I dont even think people hide there anyway. freak:
