Whenever i try to play the single player demo, my computer always trys to connect to the internet. So, whenever i want to play, it has to be online, so it eats up RAM which will slow it down.

Is there anyway to make it stop doing that?

Manny mentioned that you can change the ffx86.dll under the Main folder of the MOH demo to ffx86.bat I haven't tried it myself yet so im not sure if it works, i'll let you know.

Nope that doesn't work, it still tries to dial up. If anyone knows how to disable this i'd love to hear it.

I know a way to kinda bypass it, though it might not work for everyone.

ok, open up Intenet Explorer, go to "tools", then "Internet Options", then "connections". make sure the "never dial a connection" option is checked. hope it works......

Nope I already tried that and it doesn't. The fix needs to be made within MOH.

When it tries to connect, there's a settings button at the bottom of the connect window. press it and then, again at the bottom of the window, check the checkbox that says "never dial..." or something like that. when you're done restart the computer.

Yeah I know how to set it, but in XP it still brings up a dial up box when a prog requests a connection (ie MOH) and that promptly jams the Demo up real good.
