id like to alert you all that this kroean guy b-bear ( or something to that effect) is hacking .. it became obvoious when he wenrt no hacks ... then after he got shot about 8 million times and had two grenades thrown on him he said hehe enebeled cheats ... this guy has to be watched otu for.. man i cant wait till their able to permenantly ban ip's

the chance of anyone evr seein this guy are very slim, and he might have another name, bannin for ever is dumb cause people payed for it so they should ahve the right to do what ever they want, i dont cheat but i think its stupid for totally banning sumone, banning sumone from a server is fine though but from all servers is stupid

I also followed the other player you guys were talking about and the players health went from 54 to 100 with out a Health Pack..so I kicked him/her
I was about to tell them it is not a good idea to be cheating when the administrator is following you but I had a itchy Enter key

When you buy software, you also have to agree to terms. include you will not modify the game to cheat, or use any software that makes the game different in a cheating way(so that regular mods can still be made) and they would be banned for life if they do it. It is simple. It is also the most effective way to end cheating.

Hey, MMOL games have been doing it for years. Why not for shooters?

Admins can't do a dang thing about it. The cheats everyone is talking about are totally client-side cheats. It doesn't matter if the server has enabled or disabled cheats. Anyone can cheat on any server, provided they know how to activate and use the MOHAA Console. Once they do that, they can do the God-Mode cheat and the Full Health cheat. 2015 needs to patch the demo quickly.

The only way to curently combat cheaters is to...

1. Have an admin kick them. (This only works, if the admin is actually there)

2. Call a vote and kick the offender by YES votes. (This can be done regardless of whether the admin is there or not)

Voting is easy to do, if you download "Elvite's Kick Vote" in the mod section of this website. I created it, so that it will unlock the hidden voting features in the demo. Here is the link to the file, http://www.alliedassault.com/downloads/mods/Elvite's%20Voting%20Tools.zip . There is a README file included that explains how to use it. It's very easy to use. Be aware that in order to actually kick someone at least 50% of the people playing have to vote YES. So, find a group of people you like playing with and get them to also download the voting tools, if you want it to work. Might sound like a hassle at first, but it's worth it. There are already several servers out there where this is happening. Some even mention it in their Server Name. Here's a ficticious example... "JoeBobsFragland(w/ Vote Kick)", but I've seen them out there like that.

By the way, I frequent a server called "Burning Bridge (CPR)". We play with FF on, so we also have to deal with Team Killers. It's not a problem anymore, because we can vote them out easily. You're welcome to join us.

Stop the panic. Servers need to run with cheats 0, thereisnomonkey 0 and sv_pure 1, and then clients can't cheat.

So I hadnt seen any cheating on the euro servers I had played on, so I thought lets try some yank servers. And wouldnt you know, the first server I try theres a retard running around with the godlike cheat turned on. He couldnt hit shit, but then again he couldnt die either, so he had to throw grenades at his feet to kill the people around him.

So if you see a player that cant aim, and cant die, and goes by the name "}XMR{`-WarBlade", then id advice you to ban the moron. Id look out for a "Mr X" too, a known cheater from other FPS games.
