Okay, I just put 5 MG rounds into a German and then he killed me. What gives? And don't tell me I missed. It's not an aim issue. It was almost point blank range. This is very frustrating, especially when it happens over and over. Grr.

Some people have been cheating. They can be invincible.

This has nothing to do with cheating.

In the normal damage model the automatic weapons do NOT take someone out with one round unless it is in the head. If it is a leg, arm or torso hit an automatic weapon will require several hits to bring someone down. I routinely see three or four blood squirts from someone at point blank range and they do not go down.

The realistic model is better in that regard and is, well, more realistic. Even if there are times when you need more than one round there too, not nearly as many though.

depends the SMG and MG's tend to be woefully underpowered, if you were playing on a CPR server and that still happened then its another thing ^^ , If you want some advice stick to CPR servers only, oh and the new *anti cheat* ones too

A big ol' bitch slap across the face with a handgun. That's so much more fun than any knife could ever hope to be. And who agrees with me it's about time the Walther P.38 got used instead of the damned old Luger? I mean it's a good pistol but it just wasn't that common in the second world war. Not as common as most people think, anyways.

Okay, I did some experimenting on an empty server and noticed that the guns are very inaccurate. From even 2 steps backward you can miss the enemy's head with the pistol. That's with the crosshair dead center and standing still! It's some sort of random path deviation in the programming. It's cool though. You just have to learn how to use each weapon. I like it now. Have played the realism mod a few times now and prefer it.

I have noticed the underpowered smg too. Even many times. And it really do piss me off sometimes. Especially when a shotgun is so powerfull compared to the smg's (especially the Thompson).
