i dont play the game, but my friend us a huge rs crack addict. he brought this to my attention

I don't have problems like that. Sure, I get the CD error when I just play on LAN by myself with bots, but I just restart the server and boom, and I'm in. I don't have problems, and I agree with Sloi.
