I've read reviews from Computer Gaming World ... PC Gamer ... etc., and they all went with the Geforce 3.
Radeon 8500 has horrible drivers. When I buy a product I expect it to work great the day I buy it, instead of having to wait months until that company throws the finished drivers to me.
yeah, on paper the radeon 8500 is better than a geforce 3 but radeon drivers sux. I just ordered a geforce2 ti because its a pretty good card for only $90(heh, much better than my tnt2 ).
Got it because XP didn't like my FURY MAXX. I would have liked the 8500, but cash was tight. So far, everything is maxxed out on all my games and no lag times or glitches. I LIKE, I REALLY LIKE IT.
I've actually tested both Radeon 7500 and any Geforce2 and Radeon is far better in any aspect. I run a 7500 on my PIII 850mhz. Id say its the best card out there besides the 8500 or a GF3. thats my opinion
