It's fine as it is!

IF it worries you that much, why not make a realism mod of the Springfield and KAR98!

Close isn't good enough unless you throw a grenade!

I can shoot a .306 with a 16x Leapuld Dusk Scope mount with fairly low recoil.
The recoil in RtCW is way innacurate.
It also only takes about a second to stop the scope from moving, not like 10 seconds in a prone position.
This is almost as shitty as the dumbass with the overheating MG42 idea.
BTW: being realistic, you can't just turn around as quick as you can in RtCW.

the question is still unsolved, does this effect of shaking is present on MOHAA, if you see all the videos, the latest multiplayer videos the scope shakes every shoot.

And for the record even if you weld a rifle in something that will hold the rifle, even that it will be a shaking.

No it won't.
If you're to securely weld the rifle into something sturdy there would be no movement.

What good is that recoil anyhow, it goes back to the original positon again, its all for show. And muscle strength doesnt have anything to do if you hold a object still or not.

People complain how the shotgun is for "newbies", but I have to say the sniperifle is more of a newbie rifle than any other weapon in this game. Its a instakill weapon for crying out loud, it doesnt need to be that damn easy to use.

And there will always be movement, no matter how hard you screw the bolts, or weld it together, otherwise the thing will break.

If you attached a gun to a huge concete block with concrete behind it, it would not kick. In fact, the bullet would go faster. So if your muscles could tighten to the point of being this inflexible, and you were heavy enough, then it wouldn't kick for you. But that is a ridiculous idea.

I reckon the Springfield is crap compared to the KAR 98 Sniper rifle. Kar has T crosshairs making field of vision slightly larger and the bolt action is way faster cos the bolt is real close to the trigger. So an Allied sniper's bullet better not miss cos he won't get his second shot off in time.
