I odnt know why people loved it. I just thought it was ok and lame. Cause there wasnt enouh casulties. I really thought it was kinda boring. U spend a hour watching it and there as very little combat. Or a lot but when it happend not a lot of people died.
just my opinion.

I feel that Band of Brothers is absolutely overrated and only a few episodes redeem themselves at all. Most of the series consisted of soldiers talking and there were not enough combat sequences.

What!?! BoB is no nice !! its not just a stupid shoot em up movie you moron. It shows the horrors and down times,of course followed by the joy or winning the war that Easy company suffured during the war. And if you think there wernt enough casulties(sp)..... well its a true storie, they cant kill off some of the remaining members, that woiuld just be insulting, think of it... Go watch an arnold shwazenegger(sp again) movie

dudes think of the title BAND OF BROTHERS, the whole series was about how the soldiers stuck up for each other.

War is 95% boredom, followed by 5% shear horror. Expecting more combat action is ludicris, since there just WASN'T more...especially when following just one unit.

I'm not saying that the entire series should be comprised of one large shootout. The battle of the bulge was one of the US's largest WWII involvements with over 50,000 allied casualties and 110,000 German casualties. The bulk of the main episode that documented this large battle was wasted following a combat medic around while he patched people up and did the same shit over and over. They should have used that episode to show the combat units in action and not to fucking teach me how to dress wounds.
