Drugs are good in some aspects though, they expand your mind. After time though, the pleasure from taking drugs slowly decreases and the pain increases. Which is why all the good artists like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Chris Farley and Kurt Cobain are dead. Which is why I'll never do anything above pot, because I know that if I get addicted to all the hardcore drugs like heroin, I won't be able to control myself. I'd wanna do that shit all the time. My mother went that road; dunno where she is now and I couldn't care less.

other things expand your mind too, such as travelling to places outside of where you are and learning new things, reading books, playing video games, watching movies, trying new foods, the list can go on. drugs is just a substitute that people use for those things. oh well, i could care less what people do for individual satisfaction. people abuse it and corrupts parts of society.

True true, but most great artists of our day and age were drug users. Those things you mentioned can help expand your horizons, but drugs seem to be the "cool" thing now.

music? is that all that drugs can do for you? and it depends on what music you are interested in if you believe that the best musicians did drugs. cannot agree there

I think music does more than drugs. If you listen to the right music, you dont need drugs. Personally never touched hte shit except to through away a friends home made bong.( he wanted to ditch the evidence but was too lazy himself). I just listen to music and do healthy things. I feel happy enough.

nothing other than it can cure depression, and leave a person feeling good about life and themselves for months on end.
[/quote:3f1ed]

i think that's a bunch of bullshit. The users of pot and such other illegal drugs have to worry about their supply. Who will they get it from? Where will it be? Are cops gonna bust me? All those questions are reasons that might cause panic. About the person feeling good for months on end...wow. Maybe on the physical level during the drug usage, but other than that, i don't believe that's a valid statement. What about the families of these drug users? Many family members don't realize that someone is using drugs. In many cases, if the drug user's family found out, the family will be crushed. Trust will be lost among other things. I KNOW there will be an opposing argument towards mine that will match or rise above mine. But, for once think about the consequences on your family....that's all.[/quote:3f1ed]

i have thought about it, and i honestly dont see what the problem is. i smoke a bowl once a week, and eat mushrooms pretty much ever 3 weeks or so (use to eat mushrooms everyother day). is there any harm being done? sure theres a problem when ur kids getting hopped up on herion or snorting cocaine all the time, but if u keep control over urself, and what you eat/smoke you'll be just fine along with ur family.

u guys talk about a "punch to ur body" or "their bad for u". could u prove this for psilocybin (mushrooms)? i havent found any dangers yet other than someone being a dumbass and picking the wrong type of mushrooms.
