You can sometimes get a lot of problems in MOHAA using P4 processors.
If you have hyper threading enabled, i suggest you turn it off, it slows your games.

MOH is a system hog. Compared to some other games, such as UT2003 & jedi Outcast, it's unbearable to play for low-performance systems. More than likely the reason your FPS is jumping is from moving to calm zones to more crowded zones in the map. Generally, looking into a corner of a wall and at the floor, will give you the lowest ping, but when actually playing the game and facing enemies, your ping can drop dramitcally. |

I'd recommend going into Snowy Park and look up to the trees. Adjust your display settig (detail, textures, resolution, colour depth and stuff) settings to an FPS rate of above 20, and you'll do fine in all the other maps.
I'm talking AA here, Spearhead is a different story. Make sure you hear some firing of weapons while adjusting. In my experience, FPS drops when sounds are played, especially with onboard soundcards. Use a PCI soundcard if you have one.

This is also due to your connection to the server i mean if you your in a server that doesnt have a t1 or t3 connection then you will see your FPS drop, I cant get it past 90 FPS and i use Fraps to check on FPS. I also read hear that thier is a console command to bost your FPS i put it in but still get90 never have gotten more then that. In Tribes 2 i get from 90 to 170 FPS
And that depends on the server and the Video Card as well.

I have a P4 3.2 GHz (o/c), 2 GB of DDR RAM in 256 MB partitions, and a 256 MB GeForce FX, and I get fine fps, but on the bridge, my ping suffers, but no other maps.
 Any clues?
