ok. apocalypse now really is a good movie. i thought it was going to suck because of that stuff arkan or soem other guy posted about it. said it was way too confusing. they were right, but, this movie is just deep...deeper than the movie "stalker" ( type in stalker, the movie in google) it makes you think hard, and the core is embedded so deep in the film. unlike most of the new movies these days, ie american pie, james bond, matrix. this movie is real, true relaitity, depicting "the horror" not war, but the horrors of unclivilized logic, behavior. the impossibility of reason. i can't get this film out of my head. it's stuck there. so deep.

there is one part i remember though, something about a pig? and they cut it open? my memory is fading.....

no, this is the movie based on conrad's "heart of darkness" but in the movie it's set in Nam not the 1800s. the one you're thinking about is lord of the flies.
maye i never saw the part you're tlaking about, but it does sound like lord of the flies, which imo isnt really as deep as this
