Eye4Eye Website Launched. -
05-20-2003, 10:36 PM
Bruno and myself have officially launched the Eye4Eye website. Our whole idea is along the same lines as the CheatPolice. Find a cheat, catch a cheat, take cheat's head and bust it on a rock.
Eye4Eye will be 100% in support of the Anti-Cheat cause and in support of the CheatPolice.
We are currently working out the last minute bugs, but for the most part, the site is fully operational. Please stop by as much as you can. Thanks.

Its funny that your like, YEAH FIRST PERSON SPECTATOR! which can still gain almost no techinical evidence of cheating, still just speculation. Therefor it wont be used in matches. It will only catch cheaters that dont care if they are caught. Anyone that doesnt want to be cuaght, doesnt look at all.

You don't honestly need this mod to make "catching" cheaters easier. Normal spec is usually enough, when combined with using the cheat you're trying to catch. I think what a lot of people forget that it's nice to have as many tools as you can to prove players are innocent rather than try to find guilty players.
Usually a few minutes spectating (from any angle) with a cheat loaded will prove a player is clean.
1st person should have been used in spec mode anyway, so it's nice to have but I don't think it's touted or claimed to be a revolutionary anti-cheat tool. It's just a good mod to have.
As for trying to catch cheaters in matches?
Well, PAS, according to you and your collegues over at your cheat forums I thought the whole point was not to cheat in matches and only do it on publics?
Every time a new cheat is released you're all very careful to make sure it's detectable because you don't want MOH to be ruined by the cheats you create and spread.
I find that much more amusing than this mod. Funny as hell perhaps?
Roll on HL2. The cheat/anti cheat "battles" in this community are very childish.

I am grateful. Really, I am.
Thank you so much for your chivalry, your benevolence. What a wonderous group of young individuals you all are. Without your caring, kindly help the entire gaming world would just collapse.
But now... Our saviours. Our heros. The people of the good, wholesome, clever and talented cheating community are working hard to make sure this game is better for us all. With this work we, the lowly gamers who don't have the skill or the divine ability to create cheats, can just sit back and let you make all of the bad things in this community just... go away!
Yes, you truly are the messiahs of Medal of Honor.
Prick.
