Anyone have this game? Is it any good?
It only got a 6.3 or something like that on Gamespot.

I was in Compusmart today and it was on a computer and I played for about 2 minutes and it seemed pretty cool. Maybe I should go back there and just play the entire game, that way I don't have to buy it and I can play it on a good computer instead of my GF2.

 | I've heard it's good and bad Jeff, I don't really know. But I played a bit of it and thought it was entirely gay. I liked Max Payne better, and a host of not impossibly hard at parts games. |

I think it's really fun. I rented it the other day, the bullet time is cool, I like it a lot better than Max Payne for the fact that there's great hand to hand combat. Although, there is an ass load of bugs, so it's obvious it was rushed. I would say it's pretty fun, having the Matrix feel to it. |

The game is fun, though nothing truly memorable stands out about it. Like most games using a film license, they sort of rushed it to market to take advantage of the euphoria of the movie. |

Storyline is about the only thing this game has got going for it. The graphics are so-so (that opening sequence with GHOST and NIOBE, god that was ugly), the gameplay is a lil confusing (ok in the beginning of the game where you have to escape through the skylight - why in gods name would the comp start you on the wrong shelf above the gas - hohum), and the "hacking" seems thrown in. |

It's worth playing just for the FMV sequences. They will help you to understand the movie a little better.
The graphics suck IMO. The Great Hall is the best environment in the game. Every other stage is too dark even with the brightness up. I was pretty disappointed when I saw the octagon tire on the Firebird. That's PS1 quality bullshit.

The sound is so-so. It gets better when you're "focusing". The whiz of the bullets is pretty damn cool.

Focusing is by far the shit. You can kick some serious SWAT butt with both weapons and hand-to-hand. The disarm moves are great. There are a good number of martial arts moves but mashing the buttons works just as well as trying to find combos. The motion captured moves are damn cool and are faithful to the movie.

The hacking is alright. RAM drive anyone? WTH does DECODE decode?!?

Niobi can't drive worth a damn if you're Ghost.

I expected a lot more from this game. I beat both Niobi and Ghost's stories over the course of a weekend. WAY too short.

It's still fun if you're a fan though.

I didn't install it yet, but I will when I get home. Looks pretty cool.

I got it and it's fantastic! I don't know why people are ripping on the game because it's really good. It gives a little more info about the Matrix and the Storyline. Really good game and well worth the buy. |

I guess if you're a Nerd about Matrix it's for you, but if you're like me and think Zion is a City in Burma, it's not for you. |

I installed & played it last night, and I think it's cool as hell. The only thing that bothers me is the graphics. I'm running @ 1024 X 768 and it's not all that sharp, and real slow when I get into a fight. |
