For anyone else who might refer to GameSpy as LameSpy: http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/

It's an alternative

I like this one a lot more. More features, less spam. I've been using it for a week or so now. Just figured I should post a link for anyone still using GameSpy to play the MOHAA demo...

I been using ASE for about a month now and would not play without it, I paid to register it but thats just cause I can afford it and appreciate it.
Without registering it it still works indefinatly, you just get to have less people on your freinds list.
It beats Lamespy 10000000x over

If the Zone has player matching Ill be happy since the zone boots assholes at first glance.

Anyone who downloaded the demo from gamespy/fileplanet coulda saved a load of time and got it fast from c/net's downloads.com
Ive fudged up my files so many times altering the skins and textures, and with a 4gig hd I always delete the DL after install.
Average download speed from downloads.com for me is 121kb/s average fileplanet speed is 53kb/s

ARGH!!! I knew that would happen, That will probably be my one major problem with the game, gamespy sucks so much. I've also been using ASE for a while now and it's great! Reccomend it to everyone.

that wont stop all seeing eye from picking up the games, and from people only listing thier games on ASE.
After seeing that disgusting gamespy logo on the back of the box im rethinking my stance on warez. The average gamer who doesnt know any better will pay lamespy the $20 and still be forced to look at ads and use a clunky unefficiant program/browser.
