I've been looking through a lot of threads...noticed a few things. Most people who claim to have the warez version (and say the game sucks) have been registered for less than 2 days and have no history on this forum whatsoever. They don't talk like they actually played the game (their comments never go much farther than 'this and that is good/bad). Most of them write short posts with little information, and don't go into detail (about what they believe) at all. Also, they write a bit (often their opinion in multiple threads) and then disappear forever.

All the people I know said the game is fantastic, even with the few flaws it has.

I hear what your saying. I for one have yet to read a bad review from any professional publication. But I guess the people who know where to steal this game from know better than any of the professionals out there.

No doubt. It's not worth replying to give them the satisfaction of seeing their "pissing and moaning" speech stay high on the boards.
I've been waiting for MOHAA for the last year and no troll is going to make me feel any differently than I do now about the game. I'm still buying it. Besides, if these idiots don't want to play the game that's fine with me. One less dummy playing online with the fans of the game.

I give negative reviews the same consideration as good reviews. Some people are nitpicky and will complain at anything that doesn't fit their idea of how the game should play. This is like the Q3 and UT carryovers complaining about the how the players in MOHAA run, saying they're too slow, when these people are used to run-and-gun at olympic sprinter speeds with Q3 and UT.

On the other hand the good reviews point more or less to the overall effort put into the game. The big picture. These people understand how difficult it is to produce a top-tier game, bugs and all.

Then again you'll have your garden-variety trolls saying any game sux just to get a rise out of people.

Well, obviously people who don't like the game aren't gonna post here a lot. Although I understand that people in it for the long-run haven't made those kind of posts, but they are hardcore to this game. But, either way, you shouldn't add fuel to the fire.
