Why isnt the "Phantom Admin" doing double duty with BS. Ugh. A little update would be nice, yanno "we're fixing this" updating that. Site looks the same, loads the same, blows the same. Innovation, innovation, INNOVATION! Change or die.

Actually, thread deletion is taking a LOT shorter. It used to take about a minute to delete a post...now it's alomst instantaneous.

Helps me clean up the shit that SpamMonk et al spread around here over the last few weeks.

Bear in mind that we, as mods, will not be taking any action until we have discussed what needs to be discussed - and that is under way right now.

At the same time, as Zoner said, we have no power to ban - And, as you know, we do not know who BS's admin is. I have been assured by BS that we will be able to arrange for bans to be administered, if and when needed, but how can we ban people based on rules that we haven't even written and made public yet?

As for site updates - That's out of our hands until we know exactly who does what, and who can do what.

If you want a formal statement regarding what the mods are doing right now, well this is it (I wanted to leave this until I got home tonight but I've taken a minute to say it now).

As you will have noticed, the spam has stopped. Shortly we will have rules ready to publish and a fair and consistent system to enforce those rules to everyone.

Until then we request that you are all patient and just try not to cause any trouble, please.

Whilst there are no official rules at this time and everyone now has a chance to start fresh, don't think that you can abuse this place and not be noticed.

It's my honest opinion that you should all regard what we have planned as fair and that it reaches a decent compromise.

Until then just post as normal and try to have fun. I'll post this as a topic shortly (like in 2 hours).
