I've played MOHAA before and recently I wanted to play it again. When I tried to run it, after the intro movies, it crashes back to the desktop and the console pops-up with this error:

"Tried to read from a zip file textures/mohmenu/bigmap.tga that was not open"

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've reinstalled the OS (WinME & WinXP) after formatting the HDD. No luck.

My drivers are all up to date. DirectX is up to date. My M/B BIOS is up to date.

Any suggestions?

That error is basically telling you it is missing the image for the menu within on of you .pk3 files. If you have re-installed, and are running a stock copy of the game, with all current patches I don't see why you would be getting this problem.

Make sure you have all of the Windows Updates. There is a file in reference to this very problem that you need to patch with.
