Default A Simple Question - 09-12-2003, 10:30 AM

Ok, just a simple question. You are having a HUGE inspection at work. The Chief comes up to you and askes you a question based on your job and your paperwork. What do you do?

A. STFU
B. Tell the Chief that your "not qualified" for this job
C. Tell him some BS answer

More stupid than simple, really. Just tell him what he asks.

If I wanted to use the poll, I would have.

Bazooka this is a Base wide inspection. The Chief of our Command decideds to ask him a question. Now, this guy is a Ssgt and you would think he knows the answers..nope. So you would think that he would STFU if he didn't know. Nope. He tells the Chief choice B. Oh yeah..hell is being raised right now. Its really hitting the fan

I have a question:

Why does the US military have so many Sgt ranks? You have like 6 of them.

Oh you didn't tell me this was a military matter. What rank is the cheif, 1 star? Colonel?

And yeah, saying your not qualified to do your job to a higher-up is about as good as saying "My mental capacity is not able to contain that information"

The Chief Inspector is a Chief Master Sgt. From the Command HQ The guy who said that WAS (key word) a Staff Sergeant. But still, the point is, when you are being inspected the best thing to do is keep your mouth shut and let your boss answer the questions. If the base fails this, lol its going to be his fault

Each rank is more responsibility and pays more. Ssgt is the lowest in the AF, and is responsible for running his/her shift as well as supervise the Amn. Tech Sgt and above are overall responsible for the whole operations of that section. While the higher enlisted have more control over the whole Squadron as a whole. Hope this helped you out

Chief Master Sgt. ROFL!! WTF is that?

In the Canadian Army, we have Master Corporals and Sergeants. On course some people would start to call our Pl Sgt a master corporal, but then stop and say Sergeant. So it would come out Master Sergeant. It was funny because the instructors would accuse us of making up new ranks. And what makes it even funnier, is that you guys have Master Sergeants, don't you?
