Let us not forget the amazing paratrooper's rifle in RTCW. It's a machine gun/sniper rifle in one ~ and it sounds so real. Me likey. Still, no one can deny that there really are NO weapons like the ones in TRON 2.0. They're not my all-time favorites, but they're the most unique weapons I've ever seen. Such a stunning game. Am I the only one here who has beheld the wonder that is TRON??
Here's a data wraith getting 'the snipe';

Tron was way too meh for me. To much downloading and searching for proper permissions and not enough fighting. Myabe the weapons got better, but I lost interest in the game before I got a 3rd weapon.

That's part of what gives the gameplay depth, but yeah sometimes you just want the immediate gratification of shooting at things. You should hang in there, though... there are a lot of stunning levels worth sticking it out for;

Yes it did. Anyone remember that FarSight gun that could shoot through walls? Or the Phoenix with explosive shells?

I wish more games would implement the screaming, exploding victims the way Unreal Tournament did....
rocket: WOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH>>>>>>......... Enemy:
"AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ggggggggghhhhh!!!!!!! ~ SPLAT!!!!!!!! ... bloody, fleshy, bony chunks fly about...
Aaaaah, nothing feels quite so satisfying... (single tear rolls down cheek)
