I used to play all the time. Me and my friends from school would get together and have games up to 12+ people. It was really a blast and we will have a few more games before graduation.

I have a Tippmann Pro Carbine, used, oh five times, 20oz tank, crappy mask, various accessories for $115 obo. Somebody email me, please. I'm trying to get rid of my stuff. I never play anymore. Dirtbike instead, its much more interesting, and hurts less too (usually eek: )

I play woods ball solely. I could never get into speed ball, mostly becaue i hate spending $70 - $100 on good paint. I own a spyder Xtra with a dye 14" boomstick, and an ArmoTech WG65-M4, running on remote to a 4500 psi 68 CI tank. With a 42mm BSA red-dot scope mounted anything within 100 - 150 ft is easily sighted and hit single shot. Havnt played ina while, because of money problems and so forth. Come spring though im gonna kick the living shit out of my friends.
We dont use fields. We get all our gear squared away perhaps stopping at a nearby field to gas up and grab some rounds. Then we drive up the road a long ways and find a spot in the woods. Set a tactical goal and send one team into the woods. Other teams starts a set amount of time later, and we have at it. Some LONG, intense games that were the best of my life. I really cant wait for spring, but until then my hockey will have to keep me occupied.
I want to get into airsoft since the up a running cost is lower than paintball. IE BB's are $10 where as paint is $70 - 100 depending on type. Plus air refills, where as an AEG airsoft requires a rechargable battery.

Nah, I think paintball is better because it's more realistic, the stakes are higher. It hurts a lot more to get hit by a paintball then a plastic BB. Right now, I have a Spyder Classic that works just fine. The whole setup only cost me $60 but I bought a seperate mask for like $30-$40 (JT nVader) which works really well and doesn't fog up at all. Sometimes it does get really expensive though, I agree with that, that's why I've only been like 6 times.

Vger, a model 98 is a good gun. It's cheap and accurate. There is no point in going out and blowing $500+ on a good gun for what I do. I just play in my backyard with a bunch of friends. We have nearly 5+ acres of dense woodland with rocks, dead logs, etc... plus we made a base out of logs, sandbags and hay-bails. I only have a Rhino Spitfire and I kick ass with it.. it was only $100 too.

Its Ranger...lol, and i have 90 acres to play on heh. My model 98 is a good gun i know, but the tippman a-5 is awesome with a response trigger in it, and a flatline barrel. Plus my friend is on a sponsered team and i can get it real cheap.....plus my mom will pay for some of it, i will, and my dad will pa y for half. Should i still go for it or get some accessories for the model 98, like a flatline barrel? a remote adapter? etc. let me know if i should

exactly what I have always said
Also, I don't think you really need a flatline system, they seem cool at first but I hear they really aren't all they claim to be...
