Why are there NO Team Match servers that have the CPR realism mod?????

I was on the coolest server last night. Realism, so you actually had to know how to shoot and to survive. And Friendly Fire so you had to pay attenion, AND the anitcheat patch.

I had never played a Team Match game. Always Objective. Well having not even gotten very far in the home game this Team Match had maps I had never heard of. The Snowy Park is GREAT!! So scary, in dark. The Algerian town is also great. ALL of them were great.

But I go there tonight and there are NONE. ZERO. ZIPPOLA. Not one Team Match was listed as CPR or Realism. None.

Sigh. That SUCKS. I mean I like the IDEA of objective play. But the same maps over and over and over and over ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz. Omaha is a blast but frustrating if you are an ally with german snipers, or a german who wants to run an mg42 with allied snipers. The V-2 is a joke. NEVER seen the allies win that one EVER. The Bridge is ok but is getting old.

But all those other maps? VERY cool.

Sigh, I just won't play none realism anymore. It is clearly for whimps who are afraid to die. Or those who can only win by tossing 5 grenades all over the place. BOOORRRRING.

When will people wise up and put CPR on team matches??

a few things....

what is the CPR realism mod... i'd like it if it makes the game better, and considering that i love all things about realism, i would probably love it

and if there weren't any of those types of games listed tonight, then look later.

CPR website: http://www.force137.com/cpr

CPR stands for the folks names that put it together. It basically cranks up weapon damage, slows down the walk of MG and Rocket ppl and limits grenade and rocket ammo.

Very fun. I prefer it by far. When I do put up a server it's always with CPR running.

I prefer it too. It makes you play a bit more carefully and deliberately because anybody who gets a lock on you pretty much kills you. I've been on the giving AND receiving end of the "half-clip turnaround", where somebody empties half of their clip into their opponent's back only to have their opponent turn around and kill them with 1 shot. Not very fun to me. If I get the jump on someone, I expect them to drop once I unload into their back.

I've read the posts where the Q3/UT circle-strafers hate the realism mod because it renders their run-and-gun tactics useless, and some of the more skilled players hate the mod because of the ego bruises given to them by newbies. I find their gripes rather amusing.

So watch for my server at times name "Small But Deadly Space 1.1" I believe its on now but forgot to turn on the realism mod on. I wasnt even sure if people like that. Well when I get home Ill get the server up with realism mod and round based.

Well I am confused now, as I could SWEAR I was in a Team Match Monday night, only when you got killed you stayed dead, as in the objective matches. Then last night I could not find that server and was then told that it is infact a Round Based Match that has you stay dead once you are killed, and the Team Match has you spawn as often as you want.

But anyway. Almost all the CPR servers are Objective. Which is too bad. Those maps get stale. I love the maps in the Team Match and the Round Based Team Matches.

As to "cpr" all I know is it is the Realistic Damage model. Why it is called CPR I have not a clue.

But if you want to try the realism mod then look for the servers that say CPR or say Realism.
