Anyone hear about this? We lost the tryouts to Mexico, so we wont be competing in baseball in the next summer olympics.

It just goes to show how full of ourselves we are, we're shocked that other people play a sport better than we can.

Someone get Bush on the horn, divert all war efforts to getting a US baseball team in the olympics.

i think its funny. you know the last time i checked, it seems that after the dreamteam basketball team of 92, we get closer to losing the basketball gold medal every 4 years.

Did you Yanks know you had a rugby team that just competed in the World Cup?

They did get knocked out of the comp, but they're really quite a good team this year.

I just thought it was interesting because I've never heard any of you supporting the U.S rugby team...
