help with reinstallation -
11-11-2003, 09:43 PM
basically when i had mohaa previously installed i moved it from my c to d drive, i then uninstalled it via clicking on the uninstall thing in the main mohaa folder, now when i want to install it takes me to the pick menu with modify/repair/and remove but it doesnt work properly....ive tried deleting the mohaa registry files yet it is the same, is there anything else i caqn get rid of in order to just plainly install the game as if it was the first time id install it?
sorry if it makes little sense but thats due to my short patience.

Well you could delete the files yourself, or you could just select the repair option and reinstall it, this should let you uninstall it.

alright, heres what you do.
1. Delete the games directory. By default this will be C:\Program Files\EA Games\Medal Of Honor Allied Assault. Then delete MOHAA from the start menu as well. By default this is Start->Programs->EA Games->Medal Of Honor Allied Assault
2. Now load the registry editor. Go to Start -> Run -> type in "regedit" (without the quotes).
3. There is a registry folder that causes this and must be removed. It is found in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall\
You must then select and delete the folder name below found in that above location:
{0DEA94ED-915A-4834-A87E-388D012C8
yay.

EVERYONE HAS THIS PROBLEM just go to the EA Games site, then go to Tech Problems, then it gives you a list of problems that you could be having, pick the one that says can't uninstall medal of honor.
