Most hard-core server admins use Linux anways. A game can't have a decent multiplayer support if it doesn't support Linux!

judging by the current dedicated server 2015 will probably force us to have the cd in the drive

Absolutely.

And, having to have the CD in for a dedicated server is just gay....
