Default modified autoexec.cfg file - 12-14-2003, 07:35 AM

hey,
I made a mod, and a part of that mod is that i make some changements to the autoexec.cfg file, so i put the modiefied autoexec.cfg file in my pk3.
Now when the pk3 is in the main folder, there are 2 autoexec files in main folder;
the original one, and the modiefied one in my pk3. Now is the problem that the game allways reads the original one, unless i remove the original one to force the game to read the modified file.

Its a bit of a fuss to install the mod so i was wondering or there was another way to force the game to take autoexec.cfg in the pk3, without having to temporarily remove the original one. that way, the only thing people would have to do is place the pk3 in main folder like they have to do with all other mods.

help would be appreciated
