Geezo, there is a blown out building directly across the river from the plunger for the explosives. You have to get up to the second floor of that building and snipe the soldiers as they run to get to the plunger. As well, german armor will be coming in the area and you will have to call in artillery on it with your binoculars. Its alot to handle at once, but not really hard. Good Luck

I also stuck in this mission, while your tiger drives onto the bridge, the plunger will be destroyed. But I´m unable to shoot the german tanks with the artillery support, cause my tank is damn sitting duck and fucking allied artillery seems to shot only a few times. If your tiger´s health goes down to 80 % your artillery doesn´t shoot anymore. This level is bullshit, I look forward a level warp cheat or a map listing. This level is very anoying I´m trying to pass this section for nearly 6 hours now. I think there is somekind of bug in the game.

I had as much trouble with that level as I did Sniper Town. On the road that leads to the bridge where your Tiger will eventually stop to destroy the 88, the plunger, and engage the wave of enemy tanks, there are two buildings at the beginning of the bridge, and they both have towers--one on the left and one on the right. You need to take the one one the right. You will know it's the correct tower if you are looking directly across the river to the plunger.

After you snipe the last of the enemy troops trying to blow the bridge with the plunger, your captured Tiger tank will move on the bridge, and blast the 88 and the plunger. When the enemy tanks start showing up, target them with your binoculars and call in an air strike. You also have to kill any German troops that rush up the stairs to stop you. I kept losing the level because I kept getting killed by the troops because I was so focused on calling in strikes on the enemy tanks.

I finally won by

1. Calling in a strike.
2. Switching to the Thompson, spinning around and blasting the enemy troops as they rushed up the stairs. By that time the airstrike destroyed the first wave of tanks.

3. Switch back to my binoculars and call in a strike for the next wave of enemy tanks.

4. Switch to the Thompson, gun down the next pack of Nazis charging up the stairs.

I repeated 1-4 until I was down to 50% health and my Tiger was down to 45%. My last airstrike was called in on a lone German King Tiger that was attacking my King Tiger. I popped two more Nazis who were rushing up the stairs, yelling and cursing (I guess they were cursing--I don't understand German but they sure sounded pissed), spun back around to the window, and saw the air strike and my King Tiger blow the enemy King Tiger away. The CO called in on my radio and said something to the effect of "Good work Lt. Powell!" The mission ended successfully.

One way to fail is to take the tower on the left. Although you get a better sniping angle on the enemy soldiers trying to blow the bridge, and you won't be harrased by enemy troops rushing up the stairs to kill you, those enemy tanks will target you and blow your ass clean out of the tower after you launch the first air strike against the first wave of enemy tanks. It seems the only way to win the mission is to snipe and call in the strikes from the tower on the right, killing all the enemy soldiers trying to stop you.

And I thought Sniper Town and the City Hall mission following it was a bitch . . . 8-)

I played in hard difficulty level and I found this part of the level not that hard. First, I killed every enemy in stealthy way. You must leave the city clean of all enemies in your side. Then, after getting to know the three possible higher positions to stay and sniper, I choose the one at the left (the one that will be bombed, later) because it has a better point of view. Then, the tiger tank starts to run and the enemies start to try to get to the plunger. After killing all the enemies, the tiger tank bomb the plunger and you don't have to worry about it anymore. Now, comes the enemy tanks. First, get out of this building because it will explode (an enemy airplane will bomb it). Go to the other side of the street, to the only location you have to see the tanks. For each tank coming, just click '7' to activate the binocular, then aim the tank and click fire to call airplane attack and destruct the tank. Do this for every tank, even for the last one, the Tiger Tank and that's it. No secret. BTW, the only secret is not to rush clicking to many times. You have to click fire (with the binocular on) just once and wait to see if your command was listened; you'll receive a message saying that the position of the enemy tank was received (something like that), than, don't click again, wait the tank to be destroyed. If you keep clicking frenetically, chances are that you will get no attack. So, pay attention to the confirmation messages you'll receive from your mates. The same applies to the enemy Tiger Tank.

the best place to go on this mission is the bell tower, i have found 3 places but the top of the bell tower is the best because you have a better and larger line of sight on the Germans charging for the plunger- The only problem is once you have to start scoping out the tanks for airstrikes you have to leave and go to one of the other 2 spots because otherwise one of the tanks will blow you up =]
