I went to see a concert on Saturday night, Primus... my favorite band, and they were awesome by the way, and when I was on the metro on my way home, I saw a peta poster. It said "Even if animal testing found a cure for aids, we'd still be against it." It then had a picture of a rat and a child and some bullshit rhetoric. In all honesty, I fucking hate peta... I want them to die. I just needed to vent about those stupid fuking hippies. And then go kill a defenseless animal for no good reason.

They may be a extreme, but I don't have a problem with them protesting animal cruelty.

If animal testing found a cure for anything, i'd be for it, and i'm sure most people would, but unnecesaary testing they have a point. I don't really understand why everyone gets on the backs of people trying to protect things like animals, the environment, people. I mean, we need all of those things. And I bet that if people didn't protest and form organizations then governments wouldn't hesitate to drill for oil in wildlife reserves, use animals for testing new products and throw people in jail without a trial.

Third point is that its a free country. They can do whatever. I don't care. They can think whatever they want and do whatever as long as its within the realm of law and ethics.

*Edit* I have no problem with people protecting animals either... it's peta that I have a problem with. Any extremists tend piss me off. People that understand the good that can come out of animal testing, not for make-up or shit like that, but for disease control, but are against using animals for other shit like mentioned above are fine. But some asshole that puts lassie before a person... fuck 'em.

Thats ELF (Eatrh Liberation front) This is a great bunch of assholes! PETA funds a terrorist org and gets whacked by having thier tax free status removed. This should hurt PETA in a huge way.
