i was looking at that book at barnes & noble the other day, looked pretty good but for some reason i didnt buy it. ill probably but it off amazon.com. basically whats the book about?[/quote:c9fd8]
its this guys first hand account of his expierence in ww2. And unlike most memoirs that are written 50 years + after they happend, this guy wrote this while he was a pow after the war. Everything is vivid and fresh and gives an acururate portrayel of life as a soldier in the waffen ss.[/quote:c9fd8]
what division is he in? which front? is there any well known battles in the book? (last questions)
