at first they were a boy band. then they started getting older and wiser. they started coming out with songs like I am the Walrus and Being for the benefit of mr. kite. those songs changed their sound from boy band to surrealist

Yeah, the Beatles most definitely owned. Metallica was among the greatest metal bands (second to Megadeth), until they started shitting out garbage like Load, ReLoad, Garage Inc, St. Anger, and the Black Album. Show me one person who liked any of those, and I'll show you a dumbass. The Beatles have sold over 1 billion records. And if not for the Beatles, you'd be listening to Little Richard right now. The Beatles set the bar, and everything that came after them couldn't have done so without that precedent. Personally, I like Metallica, but anyone who thinks they can hold a candle to the Beatles doesn't know what they're talking about. I'll stop before this becomes a rant. As said before me, bad band, good sig.

I have all of those albums, except for St. Anger which I thought was horrible. But it is still Metallica so I can't not like it. I guess I am a dumbass for liking those albums then huh? |
