This happens whether the soldiers do that shit or not. Its just not reported. Those guys just would have used some other excuse to kill the guy or someone like him. Thye would have held him for ransom or killed him all the same. The only preventative measure that could have been taken was not to go to war with Iraq. But we;re past that now, so these things are expected. And if you don't expect them, you're diluted. Does that make them right? Of course not. I'm not defending their actions.

Misunderstanding and intolerance will be our downfall: we're nearing the end-game.

[quote="TGB!":1df08] I'm not trying to censor you or anything, but bullshit comments like "its fake" dont jibe with me. If you're kidding - fine great we get it. Joke told, move on to another thread. If you're serious - you need your eyes, ears, and head checked.[/quote:1df08]
The "fake" comment was no joke, but I wasn't referring to the actual beheading I was refering to the circumstances surrounding this whole thing and the people who supposedly killed Berg. As soon as my conspiracy hat is out of the washing machine I'll put it on and make a post about what I think is going on here with this whole Nick Berg incident.

And they video tape it, send it to the united states and watch as we cry about "the barbarism of our enemies" and "how we can never win against such a determined enemy as this"...which is complete bullshit, we could completly stabilize and secure the ENTIRE country within a month if we set our minds to it and let our soldiers fight a war instead of playing cops and robbers with an enemy who can brutalize our guys and get away with it. the sad thing is they know they can get away with it, they know because of arogant civilian moralist back here in the united states wouldnt tolerate retaliations, because they think its "imorale" and they know that the president wont authorize any strikes that might destroy civilians, religous, or historical sites, because that would anger the arogant moralists who he needs to be re-elected. The truely immorale thing is that we have troops dieing needlessly because they have their hands tied behind there back. the fucking muslims know that as soon as they start killing americans the weak will start to cry and demand our withdrawl and they know that the president has to withdraw to save his political career. because of this we are seen as weak, around the world....the greatest military force on earth, and we are taking shit from a bunch of raghead camel jockeys flaunting about allah while they brandish there ak-47's, ITS BULLSHIT. untie the hands of our military and let them engage there enemies, let them make an example out of iraqis about our willingness to complete our mission, and how resistance will not be tolerated, aiding resistors will not be tolerated...and more importantly remind them that westerners conquered the world once and imposed our wills on lesser peoples, and we still have the power to do it again, we can be much more efficent in our brutality against them, its the only things barbarians respond to is barbary...the entire militant islamic movement could be whipped out easily if we became more brutal, its just a question of our resolve to do so....i link it to the decesion to drop the atomic bomb on japan to end ww2, yes its brutal...yes alot of innocent people are going to die, but in the end it will not only save the lives of our troops, but the lives of the enemy as well.

I know i'm a little late posting this, but I sort of feel the same way on certain issues Eames makes, like yes the american troops should not be held back they way they are from fighting this war, it seems all you see on TV is them busting into houses, finding weapons in schools, or dieing, you see more bad than good on the news, maybe it's the media or maybe it's the troops should be aloud to do what is nessacry for this to stop.

For my Civics class I did a project on child soldiers in Sierra Leone, one 13,13!! year old boy buries a mother and child alive, and another 15 year old chops up a family and eats them, there was one that said, the fasted way to clear a village was to force the family's inside and burn the house down.

I agree with the American need to "pump it up a notch" and fight a war in order to win by not caring about politics. In my opinion, many extreme liberals here in the States are doing nothing but harm for our troops in Iraq. They try to use Iraq as a political tool so the Democrats can take control. In reality, they're demoralizing the troops and sending negative images to everyone. (note: I am not blaming democrats for this. I'm just saying a few selected men are not helping the american situation.)
But, this is where I disagree with Eames. I don't think we should drop a nuke. That will only make things worse. That will really make the majority of the world to have a strong hate for our nation. Plus, it will ruin all of the land (oil...yeah. Face the truth. Oil is in the middle east and the world needs it).
