It's supposed to be VERY liberal. So if your a conservative, you probably won't like it. It blames a conservative government for not implementing the Koyoto accord and such which leads to rapid global temperature change among other things. Or thats what i've heard.

independence day was pretty good, except for having bill payton as the president all was pretty good. I still wonder how the fuck the world had any jet fighters left though after the first few masscre's.

It was a good movie, overhyped, but stil good. I remember being dissapointed that there weren't more dogfights between the jets and alien fighters.
Did you just combine Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman?
And I'm sure some jets were in bunkers, not all airfields were destroyed, and some were on aircraft carriers in the ocean.
I'm still waiting for a really good trilogy of movies that deals with earth coming under attack from an outside force. It would bee cool to see an epic such as LoTR, one movie dealing in the initial battle, one showing the aftermath and how the human race survives, and then the final movie showing the combined effort of the remaining forces fighting back and defeating those damn aliens!
Movie looks like environmental bullshit. There is such a thing as global warming, but when the total degree change is 1 in the last century - itll be awhile before you and I - hell your childrens children have to start worrying.
