Default DVD +/- rw drive - 06-09-2004, 10:08 AM

http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/chart_te ... 281,00.asp

I can get this drive at my work right now for

57.50
-7 dollars associate discount
-20 mail in rebate
-20 bucks for a cdrw drive that I am returning that was never opened

= 10 bucks oOo:

This sounds like a deal too darn good to pass up? But any suggestions or words of caution?

of course Im gonna need to find some "dvd movie" copying...I mean backing up software

and what would be the best discs to use to put movies onto?

I'd get it since most DVD Burners are just like most (anything you can think of) - they get the job done in the same amount of time. The only real thing you need to pay attention to is the software you use in Authoring DVD's as some programs are much worse than others (Stomp is good for burning iso's Roxio obviously good for creating DVD movies).
