Default Computer just died,what could it be ?? - 08-03-2004, 05:07 PM

I came back from vaction,7 days in Cape Cod,pushed that power buttom,but nothing happened.I'm guessing it's the Power suply.What else could it be ?

there is a switch inthe back

make sure it's flipped on

make sure the power plug is on

was it on the whole time perhaps it was like a thunder storm or something.....

if that's the case it could be a list of things

mb - psu

usually when the psu goes the mb can go too

Maybe it has to do with somethign else. Maybe a fuse blew in that area of your house, or something. Before you buy a new PC, get it checked out first.

I had the same problem. It turned out to be my surge protectors switch was off. How it got there- Who knows?

I got an electrical surge once and it blew my mobo. so your mobo could be fucked up.

That happened to a blender I had once. I openned it up and found that a roach had gotten into the electric motor. I pulled it out and put the blender back together, but when I turned it back on it went snap! crackle! pop! and caught fire......

I have my monitor/printer/lamp etc... plugged to the surge protector.The only thing that doesn't work is the PC.
Funny thing is when I 1st turned on,the little red led under the power button came on for a second,then I tried back again nothing happened. annoy:
