the blend of the chicken head and the body is poor, and you sould'nt of changed the sepia (hue), there is no real color contrast or variation.
A+ on the idea though

i dont do blending so well ...
... but to make it a bit more original i might would try seperating the two somehow ... in other words ... try to do it without blending ...
