It seems to skip revolutions, uprising, and n00b flaming. The very things that made AA.com, AA.com.

You're going to do the same thing. Choose what you want to include and not put int he people who you disliked or the moments you didn't appreciate.
|
He could have chosen a better, longer song - could have at least listed the names of the other users without pics in a single shot.....
.....and of course I'd be liberal - I'd include alot more people than that. Not just my friends, or the people I liked.
If you're going to make a tribute - It's gotta be decent. That's what a tribute is about....You may ask why would you waste so much time on a website - Well, you need to make it worth the download - And to be quite honest, that wasn't.
|
At least appreciate that he tried. Just because he didn't follow your exact formula for making a tribute video doesn't mean he deserves shit for it you know.
|
I wouldn't even bother my fucking ass trying to make something based on this community, id a feeling this shit was gonna happen.

I do appreciate that they tried. I think a tribute video was a brilliant Idea (Hence the fact that I'm going to make one also).... I didn't think Gerv actually had much of a part in it's creation, because I'd expect him to include a mention of the older members like CandyStraw, Hells-Angel, etc
I figured it was Bucknub just making a tribute video of the people that HE liked, and calling it an aa.com tribute video, that's what pissed me off a bit.....
I apologise for making a deal of it, I just felt a little dissapointed that all of these people were left out of the 'Users' section.....

You also have to take into account buckweed wouldn't know those people. And like Gerv said...He did ask people to tell him things about aa.com and no one barely responded.

Well I think its safe to say it needs a reworking, even though we appreciate the effort Buck 'n' G-man.
There was never going to be a 100% agreement anyways, that would've been impossible, so I say we have 1 or more people working on another version, then in the end we could vote on a video and keep the memories captured on....camera.....4 LYFE.
Also include quotes in a different version, theres some glorius quotes out there and to be honest it wouldn't take THAT long to find some, you just have to entertain people with added relevance to what this site has been about over the years.
I look forward to............The Sequel......

....and yeah, Buckweed wouldn't know any of those people. That's why it didn't seem like an aa.com tribute. Just a tribute for the people he knew. Gerv needed to have more input in the users area, or someone that has been here longer than two years.
I didn't see any thread - I would have gladly contributed....

The song was too short to include a lot of stuff, i mean who the fucks gonna spend hours on end searching for old flame threads and ancient history on the forum? Even going through the entire pic thread would be pretty time consuming. If people had posted more shit in his thread requesting it then id say more would have been included, that didn't happen.[/quote:d40b1]
Dude - pull out Kid Rocks Long Road or something song (wwe used it for the WWE tribute video) and post pictures respectively.
