Hey 2015, i was reading the pcgamer from back in MArch, their ww2 issue.
It says near the end of their preview of MOH that "The game will ship with two co-op-play maps as well as four deathmatch/teamplay maps, although you can be assured that many more user designed ones will eventually turn up on the web (This is, after all, the Quake III engine)
I wanted to know if theres any chance the game will ship with a level editor (which would look really great in a features box) or if we can expect one later, after release.
Also, will there be like a whole SDK package?
Everyone bitches and moans about Canadians and Australians and Chinese needing to be in this, and yaddi ya, and if an SDK came out, you could have some prolly very educated scenarios out there. May just make the game a timeless classic (if it isnt already)

I think that's awesome idea. You guys have to come out with a level editor.

Yeah that would be very much appreciated, but I think that all comes down to EA.

And by the looks of it, EA may very well allow this seeing theres a MOD section on official site. Can only hope that a level editor and the SDK package are released not too long after release.

Exactly what is an SDK package anyway? I wish that EA would release a level editor with the first release though, because I don't want to spend extra money for the level editor.

SDK packs allow for the modification of games, the SDK contains the source code of the game. Correct me or add alittle more info if you wish, hehe I dont know much about this sorta thing. And I think seeing theres these pages on the Official Site :
Mods
Levels
Game Editor
You shouldnt have to spend extra for a level editor, Worldcraft was free and whichever program 2015 is using I'm hoping it will be free too.

where you referring to halflife by any chance?

everyone knows that halflife is still going strong, maybe in mod form... but it is still the halflife that made it all happen!

come on, i think there is continually anywhere from 20,000+ people at any one time playing something created using the halflife engine and halflife ideas.

and this has been constant since it was released... what 5 years ago?
i forget

lets hope MOH can live up to this great giant of a game

I think Medal Of Honor can be around for a very long time with better and better versions for each release... Look how many different battles there were over the course of WWII. So many different scenarios can be played out it's almost endless. Rather than mods, I'd prefer to see the real thing released by the original designers.
