Chicago!!!! Wooo Hoooo. They are one of the cities with the toughest gun control policies in the US. This proves gun control works!!! Who would have thought that the criminals didnt obey the law? Honest, law abiding people cant carry but criminals do, i would have never guessed that!http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a ... _id=00BloL |

 Chicago is gay anyways.
Gun control never works. Just sould have a ban on all guns and if caught doing anything with a gun get life with no parole.

I just wish there was stricter peneties for usage of guns. |

Ok, now that we're on the topic of gun control, here's me thoughts.
Am i happy that there are literally millions of guns in the US? Well, no, i'm not thrilled about that. So, with that in mind, it's impossible to "disarm" America so lets get that out of the way.

That leads to this: I'm against gun control persay but am in favor for extremely strict laws governing the illegal use of a firearm during the commission of a crime. People who choose to use a firearm in the commission of a crime should pay dearly.

With that said, i believe in a national registry system for all firearm owners. Anyone with a felony, mental problems, not a citizen, under age, etc shouldn't have access to guns. I'm also in favor of a mandatory safety class for all gun owners.

Back in '89 before i purchases my first handgun, i took a safety course. To this day, i regularly train with firearms.
